Car Crash Crisis
- h2odragon 4y agoAwful ergonomics and awkward controls? Distractions from built in and other screens? Potholes the size of lunar craters? There seem to be several things that could be adding to this trend. I've got one that I don't think was foreseen: they just put nice new shiny "dangerous" curve signs up on the local "dead man's curve" a year ago. Usually that gets a couple people a year who miss the 90deg turn and sail off into a field (rarely a severe accident). The score is like 6+ this year and the signs are showing the tale: people fixate on the shiny and miss the road. There's only a couple of the signs left now, hopefully they'll use something less mesmerizing when they replace them sometime next decade.
