Funny story - I got ambitious and tried running a few Samsung Galaxy phones a few years back, having been a long time iPhone person. Generally there was a lot to like about the Android platform. So long as you didn't mind being a 2nd class citizen to app developers who put their energy first and secondly into the iPhone app (if they made an Android version at all). You know what drove me back to Apple? Text messaging with Apple people, group texts that never worked right, I'd send pix/videos to my friends and look like an idiot with a crap phone. "But you guys should just get WhatApp!!" I told them... "But we have iMessage and it works just fine". Apple isn't going to change this. It's not a bug. This is 100% intentional. You want good text messaging experience with your Android pals? You tell them to get a damn iPhone and be done with it. Thats what my friends told me and I did it.
