Got my first job just before it hit and so got to see wholesale layoffs right at start of career. Many people I knew lost a lot of money from the market crash too. There was a much higher level of general anxiety then, which I'm not sensing as of yet. So we're not meaningfully in a recession yet, I feel. But we're due for one, so this is prob the beginning.
