Can’t people just be responsible for there own actions?

  The people are. These lawsuits are governments robbing corps using "lost" tax dollars as an excuse. Of course, nobody is going to go after the politicians and corporations that sold off the future for a quick buck and made society so shitty that opiod abuse is common.

  Your comment is a little brief, did you mean letting drug dealers off the hook because it's really the drug addicts' fault there's a market for drugs?
