Disney owns ESPN, has for a long time
- madrox 4y agoIndeed, and ESPN has always been far and away the largest source of revenue. In fact, the earnings call where Disney beat expectations but cable subs to ESPN dipped by half a percent saw a total run on the stock. ESPN+ is what they're hoping to wean cable users onto. I suppose I should disclaim that I used to work there :)
