AI-Powered Notes Tool
- avaa411 4y agoThis could be a really powerful writing tool - beyond the obvious use-cases, can see how it could be useful in linking concepts and ideas across disciplines, and help with scaffolding new user insights
- davey561 4y agoBuilt a smart notes tool. It uses AI to help you connect your thoughts. Good for brainstorming, meeting notes, and journaling. One person said: "It's like talking with your past self." At Plexus, we're building shared brains for online communities. Notes is not really our focus, but as an experiment, we collapsed the shared brain into a personal second brain. Seems to be more useful & accessible than other "tools for thought," especially on mobile. How it works 1. Jot a note. A question, problem, idea--anything. 2. See the most related notes you've said before (based on OpenAI text-embeddings). 3. Save the most related notes, a kind of lightweight organization. It starts to get pretty helpful when you have >20 thoughts in there. Before that, it's sort of like Apple Notes. - devonnull 4y agoHaving to log in or sign up with a Google account? Thank you, but no.
- kordlessagain 4y agoHaving skipped integrating this with my current project, do you prefer logins with email? How do you feel about no passwords (using tokens only for login)?
- davey561 4y agofair. easiest way for us to spin up authentication, but happy to enable more options if matters to enough people.
