How do the recently discovered rare galaxies that look like they have no dark matter fit in with the idea that instead of clumpy stuff that can end up distributed oddly, we're dealing with a universal physical law? Shouldn't the physical law be the same for all galaxies?
- saberdancer 4y agoI'm no physicist but if you want to be cheeky, you introduce a "rare dark matter" to a MOND model and explain away those rare instances. My point is, dark matter explains the observations by being very flexible. There can be any amount of dark matter to fit the observations.
