Up until now I haven't found any of the DALL-E or other AI creations compelling: they're often interesting or technically impressive, but artistically they tend to remind me of 'forum art' - the sort of thing people would put on reddit a few years ago, to get their work critiqued. These images are a revelation: they're beautiful and disturbing. There's a creative edge to them that fits perfectly with the subject. I worry for creatives, and hope these technologies help to empower the talented, and not steal work from them.
