Finding actual criminals who violate the life, liberty, and property of others involves taking some personal risk and effort.

- ben_w 4y agoMay be part of it, but from what I've been reading it is also the case that the UK criminal justice system has been severely underfunded at every level — police, lawyers, courts, prisons, and parole — for a while now.
- logicalmonster 4y agoMaybe, maybe not, but I'd take many of these claims with a grain of salt. I'm pretty sure that in the entire history of bureaucracy, you're not going to find too many organizations that claim that they're overfunded.
