Climate change increases the risk of pandemics as environmental change creates new vectors of disease causing pathogens to exploit. What were once-in-a-lifetime events will become annual occurrences, and covid zero might well turn out to be the smartest strategy after all.

- hunglee2 4y agowe have to count our blessings that we are. But we are surely causing ourselves tremendous problems by unmanaged and uncoordinated alteration of the global environment!
- DocTomoe 4y agoI really don't want to sound too Trumpesque ... but if this was related to a global phenomenon, I would expect it to happen everywhere, not always China.
