I owned one - it was a champ. 1500 track miles in a year. I had it four years. Almost no issues. A bunch of friends own or have owned them. They are comparable.

- upupandup 4y agoyou mean mclaren forums with 20 page threads asking for refunds vs your anecdote?
- joshu 4y agoyes. forums, including this one, are filled with the outliers. i know nine people offhand that have them, some on their second or third. meanwhile, the 458’s buttons are melting/sticky with no replacements. yuk
- brokenmachine 4y agoYou know nine Mclaren owners? I don't think I've ever even seen nine Mclarens.
- joshu 4y agoEasily. I do a lot of car stuff. Rented out entire racetracks, raced competitively, invested in a racing team, etc

- joshu 4y agoAt the time that was not the case. After the track I had to do a recertification inspection.
