Why is Docker's VM not idling?
- sudosysgen 4y agoBecause macOS. It's not a container, it's a full on VM.
- raarts 4y agoI run Docker on M1. Definitely idling. It must be one of the containers. Try running Docker stats to find out which.
- zmmmmm 4y agounfortunately it does it even if I kill all the containers. It's a well known issue and they have been circling around with attempted fixes, regressions etc for a long time [1] [1] https://github.com/docker/for-mac/issues/6166 https://github.com/docker/for-mac/issues/6166
