- janandonly 4y agoThe true "battle" of the currencies seems to be inflation against deflation. Were inflation makes people spend more now, because tomorrow the € or $ will buy you less, deflation makes you spend less now and also less tomorrow, because the day after that it will buy you even more. So all those who wish the environment well and want us all to stop consumerism... we really need a deflationary currency to force us in that direction.
