A neighbor had a leaf, had a battery pack die, and was under warranty. Which dies ... out of warranty, so they bought a 3rd party replacement battery ... which also died.
They ended up buying a Tesla 3 years ago, and has had no problems since.
- timbit42 4y agoWhat year was their Leaf? Early Leafs didn't have proper battery cooling which reduced their lifespan.
