let's ask the developers of the open-source deepfake program what they think is an ethical use of their tool.
- sneak 4y agoI have yet to see a single piece of evidence that deepfakes are actually harmful and not simply distasteful. People cited the one of Zelensky telling soldiers to surrender - but did any actually simply as a result of such a video? It's a stretch. Show me specific, real harm from a deepfake, or let's stop the hand-wringing.
