I have a couple of Roombas, but I'm glad I still have older non-mapping, non-internet connected ones. I got them because I didn't want to have to rely on some app that could get discontinued or have to deal with Wifi. I never through Roomba would get acquired like this. Looks like I'll have to switch to a different brand when they break (or try to keep them going, years ago I saw something about people rebuilding the Roomba gearbox with metal gears instead of plastic).
