- beeboop 4y agoThe unfortunate situation at a lot of places is that there can be tight budget constraints which impacts the caliber of people they hire and how diligently they hold current employees accountable. Not everyone is paying Google salaries for developers, which means you work with a team of very junior devs, or senior devs that have a small chip on their shoulder and are difficult to work with, but are affordable and still get work done. Yeah it sucks to work in these environments, but for the mediocre to average PM or developer, it's a place to start a career before moving to better circumstances.
