- GeekyBear 4y agoThat article was written just a few days before the last 4:1 stock split took place, so it's just a snapshot in time. However, accounting for that last 4:1 split, Microsoft's 18.1 million shares would now be 72.4 million shares at the last closing price of $165.35.
