- swyx 4y agomaybe! serious question tho - how do you learn about local events in your inbox? i basically only use twitter so i need to bubble burst a bit.
- yardie 4y agoMost events in Miami Tech are posted on Eventbrite, theGoogleSheet, and Twitter. There are quite a few Whatsapp and Telegram groups that are self-organized. And then there are Slack and Discord groups. I made a lot of new friends during the last Miami Hack Week (January) and the Miami Tech Week (April). And there is the Tech happy hour in Wynwood every other Wednesday. I pop in early and leave once it starts getting too crowded. Everyone imagines they are immune but COVID and now Monkeypox are things I'm cautious about, unlike most of Miami.
