I've always wanted to write a book and this would be an interesting idea ;) There's definitely a lot of cool history to cover (donno if Code covers a lot of history, haven't read it) In the mean time I've heard this is good: https://www.amazon.com/All-New-Switch-Book-Switching-Technology/dp/0470287152 https://www.amazon.com/All-New-Switch-Book-Switching-Technol... And then there's your computer network textbooks like: https://www.amazon.com/Computer-Networks-Andrew-S-Tanenbaum/dp/0133499456 https://www.amazon.com/Computer-Networks-Andrew-S-Tanenbaum/... I have the second edition sitting on a shelf and couldn't get anyone to buy it on ebay ;)
