Show HN: Advanced Search for YouTube
- leobg 4y agoCongrats to your launch. Wanna share why you built it? What are some queries it can solve that the official search does not handle well? Also, how does it work internally, and what challenges did you have to overcome when building it?
- nevernothing 4y agoMost people don't know that they can use Google Advanced Search search filters on YouTube, so I built it. It's useful if you know the exact upload date for example. It's not really technically challenging, just a simple HTML form.
- terrycody 4y agoNo description on each field. For example, the Channel field, what do we expect to input at here? It seems confusing. Other fields are pretty straightforward.
- nevernothing 4y agoThe field is for the channel name. (if you want to find a specific channel page, not the video)
- casualwriter 4y agoi like it. simple and useful. will be better if have some description or document.
