Loss of Smell from Covid-19, Cognitive Problems Linked
- throwntoday 4y agoMy sense of smell came back but I feel like my memory hasn't been the same. I used to have a phenomenal memory. Now I often have trouble thinking of lesser used words.
- GoRudy 4y agoSame - I have incredible memory, or use to I guess. seems lately I can’t remember a lot of peoples names I haven’t seen in a while, especially when I run into them in the street. awkward since I have a newish girlfriend whom requires an introduction.
- bitlax 4y agoI'm sure many people have had covid-related brain damage, but I think a lot of people are also experiencing social and memory recall issues simply because they've been having far fewer social interactions. Social skills are "use-it-or-lose-it," and people who go through ascetic periods have great difficulty regaining the ability to have a normal conversation.
