I had a Corolla for many years. I changed the oil on it but the oil filter was stuck, so I never changed that. Put probably 50,000 miles on it before the muffler fell off and I got rid of it. It was a $1200 car. You don't spend a bunch of money on maintenance for a $1200 car. Throw it in the gutter and go buy another.
