- apeescape 4y agoNot sure if you're just trolling, but that's quite a different scenario. Mrs. Lincoln had a horrible personal experience, whereas the writer here had a great time personally. Though he recognized that the atmosphere surrounding the event was messed up, his prevailing memory of Woodstock '99 is that he got to see his favorite bands and be a part of this massive, generational experience. I don't see why that'd make him cringy, it's just human and honest to me.
