Long touch/force touch etc are all terrible for anyone who has lost fine motor control in their hands. I guess because the people who design these interface are all young and dexterous they don't realize a single tap can take over a second, and modulating the amount of pressure on the screen can be impossible.
- NonNefarious 4y agoThey're also a dereliction of the job of DESIGN. These are a lazy, undiscoverable, and ineffective attempt to avoid doing the necessary work to make a GUI: a GRAPHICAL user interface.

- jacobsenscott 4y agoMany people have no choice but to use long touch because they can't tap fast enough. Are you able to navigate to the accessibility settings using only long touch? I don't know. But I bet not.
