I just spent a pleasant hour fixing a friend's Lenovo hinge. Disassemble, cyanoacrylate adhesive, reduce hinge tension, wait/beer, reassemble.
Unimaginably poor design detail and QA on the tension setting. Many of this and other Yoga models junked on account of it. Easy enough repair though.

- Kaibeezy 4y agoLooked like it. PEM studs into plastic and an over-tensioned hinge. What did they think was going to happen? It sure was no X220.
- Foobar8568 4y agoI have a Lenovo x1c6 with one of the shittier fan design you can make and Lenovo support did shit. My next laptop will be an Apple one, no doubt.
