True, but modern EVs are only simple in concept. In practice, they rely on the precise operation of legions of components with nm-sized features, that are bumped and shaken continuously throughout the vehicle's life.
- Ekaros 4y agoAlso the automakers and supply chains have decades of experience making ICEs very reliable. Actually quality and reliability we now have for reasonable prices is not bad at all. On average they just work.
