You can guess how sovereign a country is by how they protect their own people, and how much effort they put into it (or rather their lack of motivation) To me this looks like their government have different interests to protect, than protecting their own people Not a great outlook for the future of India, in a world where tech will be even more predominant and cyberwarfare will pose serious threat to democracy They are at the mercy of the american tech giants, maybe they lobby over there? I wouldn't be surprised since both Google and Microsoft are present over there
