What am I shopping for? A new phone - give me the Apple store a few hours after the new iPhone is announced so I can order it (or 1 generation behind) and have it magic its way to my front porch in a couple days Stuff that i "always" get and doesn't matter so much about timeliness (shelf-stable staples, paper products, etc) - probably gonna be online (or combined with an in-person trip to Costco etc) Clothes? Have I bought them before? Yes? Order them online over and over. No? Probably gonna have to go in person to try them on (ugh). Books? I prefer in-person, but often get them online In short, I don't have a global preference, but do have preferences based on the specific category/item in question
