It's good for the US, not "the West".

- zbird 4y agoThe article is in the context of the US and the CHIPS Act, it doesn't even mention Europe. Or is the CHIPS Act also funding fabs in Europe? I'm not sure it does Europe good to make US-surveillance-ridden chips either.
