Browser bookmarks are fast, flexible, easy to use, native to every browser. Most browsers support syncing bookmarks to different devices with practically zero setup, and also exporting to formats like HTML or JSON. They can be tagged, searched, organized into folders, assigned keywords, parameterized with values (like %s in Firefox), copied into desktop icons... And plus there's near zero risk of losing them if your browser crashes! There's just no world where this tab workflow makes sense.
