Discourse is nice software but I'm regularly irked but this hostile "growth hack" default setting. I don't want to follow every forum post after I've spent a total of 5 minutes on a forum asking a question about a weird compiler error. [x] When I don’t visit here, send me an email summary of popular topics and replies That complaint aside, I think it's a good platform for a technical forum because their search works very well, it auto-recommends similar threads pretty accurately, and the UX for reading a thread is fairly good. I expect they put as much thought into their chat app.
