So I picked up the top 27 rows with > 500 continuing approvals. Just wanted to see who the big guys were.
Then I calculated "new approvals / continuing approvals" and sorted in descending order. The intent was to find out which of the existing players is showing growth. [ Now I am not sure "continuing approval" means current base. Not everyone may go through an additional approval every year. And it is not very clear from the jargon on IRS page, but that's what I assumed. ]
Top 5 are:
- Accenture
- HCL
- IBM
- Cognizant
- Capgemini
All of them (even IBM) appear to be consulting companies.
Sort the data just by continuing approvals, and the picture is quite different
- TCS
- Google
- Microsoft
- Meta
- Amazon
Sort this by just new approvals and it mixes up a little. Wonder if someone can present a more informed view.
