As someone who writes Solidity full time - it's probably not useful for anything outside its current use case.
The EVM, that it compiles to is a lot of fun though, if you like small understandable virtual machines. I like it a lot.
- malkia 4y agoThanks - I took a brief look, but as soon as I saw certain crypto/eth specific things into decided not to go further (at least for now). Personally I'm very skeptical of everything crypto, but with time it may get to some better goals. It's not the technology really that detracts me, but it's use.
