    It is useful for people who have blocked Twitter. The slower the better, because you will nto get addicted to it.

      Presumably most people who have blocked Twitter haven’t done so because they want an even worse version of Twitter.

        It's better than Twitter in that 1) it does not require an account, as Twitter increasingly does even to view tweets, and 2) it strips much of Twitter's tracking and advertising JavaScript.

    It's lighter than twitter, it has less tracking, it doesn't nag you to sign in on every pageload or while scrolling. And it has the same content as it is an alternative frontend for the same data. So for everyone who does not want to post on twitter it is probably a better experience.
