Interesting, now I wonder why cannot ECC be enabled for regular RAM at the cost of some space.
- dpchen 4y agoSome very expensive server CPUs do have something vaguely like this (eg. IBM Chipkill) but it’s more for protecting against failure of entire memory chips.
