It has given me an amazing theoretical and quantitative grasp for thermodynamics, aqueous systems, etc. It's incredibly easy to understand if you've had general chemistry and diff eq. It's my best textbook this semester. It gets into quantum and statistical mechanics, but I haven't made it that far yet.
