Calling it 'myth' is definitely overselling the case. It was the scientific consensus in from 80's on. With the rapid advance of climate science, new data, etc, it might be possible to challenge that consensus. I don't think a couple of articles are sufficient, though - it's still essentially a minority opinion that nuclear war would not result in nuclear winter.
