Linode EU-West (London) is offline
- handelaar 4y agoSurprising to me, since in the last more-than-ten years I think this is the first time it's happened
- petercooper 4y agoI have a pretty busy system that's heavily monitored in that DC and can second this. I can't think of a single outage of my VMs there that wasn't either my fault or a scheduled migration.
- intrestingstuff 4y agoYes. We are opening a once in a generation kinder surprise
- intrestingstuff 4y agolet's hope the data center hasn't been OVH'ed https://www.reuters.com/article/us-france-ovh-fire-idUSKBN2B20NU https://www.reuters.com/article/us-france-ovh-fire-idUSKBN2B...
- tomxor 4y agoIf the data centre status page is to believed there are no data-centre level incidents: http://status.equinix.com/ http://status.equinix.com/ then again i don't know if they hooked in the fire detectors. That and Linode state they are fixing it: > Identified - The issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented. Aug 1, 22:28 UTC
- dan1234 4y agoApparently it's a power issue https://twitter.com/linode/status/1554237287029940224 https://twitter.com/linode/status/1554237287029940224
- tomxor 4y agoSimilar here, first time a wide spread issue simultaneously took most of my Linodes completely offline.
- tomxor 4y agoSeems to be back up. Outage was between 21:40 and 23:02 UTC by my count. [edit] Temperamental 6 mins down again between 23:10 and 23:17 UTC for me.
