Great article and important message. > Lifting the phone should not unlock it. This setting is called “Display & Brightness/Activate on Lift” on the iPhone On my phone it's called "Raise to Wake". I didn't know that you could turn this off, but I just did so because it's inconsistent and sometimes doesn't work. I like predictable behavior, even at a minor cost to convenience.
