If California stopped paying taxes to the federal government, didnt allow the federal government on its lands. Everyone using the ports came to an agreement with California and not the USA. Had its own President. Didn't follow any federal law, did EVERYTHING ELSE a separate country would do....
Your analogy makes no sense.
- endisneigh 4y agoNot sure what your point is. How is self sovereignty defined? It’s defined by other acknowledging it, which is inherently arbitrary. The only reason we’re discussing this is because in the case of Taiwan China is trying to scare people from acknowledging Taiwans claimed sovereignty.
