Never thought of this before. As a former Googler, I probably burned out trying to come up with ideas for improvement. When you're constantly asked to come up with ideas (take initiative!), but then can't find the right avenues to actually implement them, you feel a bit ignored and useless. (Maybe all my ideas were bad, perhaps I didn't fit in the corporate environment, or I was too emotional about my work environment. All I know is it didn't work out for me.)
