But it’s clear that the smart camera cloud recording solutions consider these recordings theirs and not yours. There might be a product out there for smart cameras that actually take video ownership seriously, but I expect the pressures to allow LEOs programmatic access is too great. For “emergencies” you see. In the aggregate you’re subsidizing a surveillance apparatus rather than securing your home; the security is a side effect.
