Apparently Tiktok allows videos of up to 10 minutes, which in theory would make it suitable as a music distribution platform, but how many videos over 3 or 4 minutes actually go viral?
- dirtydirk 4y agoPeople don’t have the attention span to watch anything over 30 seconds anymore
- wizofaus 4y agoThe average length of the 100 most popular TikToks is apparently 15 seconds, which should tell you something. Apparently the increase to 10 minutes max was only very recent (up from 3). Either way it's hard to see how a musician could become successful just by staying on TikTok.
