The current government's investigation found no sign of criminal collusion at the government level. It also found that money laundering had barely any influence on housing prices.
At worst, the Liberals were just inept.
- moistly 4y agoWilful Blindness by Sam Cooper provides endless evidence that the government is corrupted. “We investigated ourselves and found that we are not corrupt” is not a ringing endorsement. - dleslie 4y agoIt was an NDP-Government led investigation; so it wasn't a case of the accused investigating themselves. If anything, the NDP had incentive to discover malfeasance. Maybe Eby didn't read Cooper's book.
