I love problem solving but I hate programming. I was using PIL the other day to format images for a tiny LCD. The logic took me 20 minutes and was very enjoyable. Figuring out the idiosyncrasies of the library took double that and was maddening.
- lgas 4y agoLet the annoyance flow through you and channel it to create a better PIL :)
- spfzero 4y agoBut you don't get to see your idea work until you implement, sadly.
- zasdffaa 4y agoOh god yes. I wanted to do a simple check, a tiny regex would have been perfect. I think it took me over 1/2 hour to do thanks, and only thanks, to the godawful mess that is MS's documentation.
