I always imagined that early humans had fun rolling big rocks or logs down hills (who wouldn't?) and someone got clever.
- RC_ITR 4y agoMaybe! But our current findings imply that the wheel and axel were invented for pottery turning and someone eventually got the cart thing going sometime after that.
