Currently developing countries are enormous carnivores. Veganism is mostly SWPL hipster thing from my observations.
- triyambakam 4y agoVeganism is growing in popularity in Thailand and India, two countries I'm familiar with, both which have a long Hindu and Buddhist history of vegetarianism. Actually traditionally vegetarian in Thailand meant vegan because cow milk was not popular and eggs are seen as meat in Buddhism and Hinduism.
