- gtfoutttt 4y agoNot sure what exactly you mean by scan, but Land Surveyors use drone photogrammetry (and lidar when appropriate) to create TIN surface models of bare earth, yes. But if it's a smaller area typically it's not worth using a drone and we'd use a terrestrial scanner like a Faro. Edit - spelling.
