75% of retailers plan to accept cryptocurrency payments within the next 2 years
- dieselgate 4y agoNot super educated with this kind of stuff along with crypto in general - but I know Tesla wanted to accept btc as payment and have since backed out of the idea. Is anyone familiar with what Tesla may/may not do in the future around accepting btc or equivalent as payment? Only asking because that’s the only “large retailer” im aware of to consider for precedence.
- WheelsAtLarge 4y agoRight now there is no crypto that can be used as a currency. Bitcoin and ethereum are too volatile and are best used as an asset similar to gold. The other ones are too small and have a similar volatility issue. What are retailers going to accept? They might want to accept it but that does not mean they will.
